Navy Patent 2.55 Reissue

First of all let me say that this bag is from an old collection 07C,which means it was available in winter 06 to beginning of 07.It is NOT part of the current 08 collection.However,there is also a navy patent reissue for this season (2008) but the patent leather is not distressed and it doesn't come in the large/jumbo size.I believe the navy patent this season only comes in the double compartment style...not exactly my style I must say.There is also the patent puzzle quilt design for S/S2008 with mademoiselle lock just like the 2.55 but again,not my style..which is why I'm so pleased with my new loot :)

Okay so back to my hot new addition - this Chanel features light-weight gold chain,gold hardware lock,and distressed patent calfskin.I am so in love with this flap..the distressed patent leather is awesome because fingerprints are not visible like on normal patent leather does.I wasn't too keen on the gold hardware at first but you know what?It grows on me..brings a little variety to my reissue collection ^_^ since I don't have any GH reissues yet.Also shown is the tag for reference.


This is the 227 size or 12" x 9" x 2.5".It retailed at $2375 but I got it for $2290 shipped!!Wooohooo because considering the price of 227 now this is a pretty good deal (now its $2850!!).The price increase is such a pain in the a$$ huh....Anyhoo,the depth of this reissue is a tad smaller than the new 08 reissue.I include a comparing picture below for reference - 2008 silver reissue size 227.



Lindsay Lohan and Sienna Miller also have the same bag but theirs are in black.Now...who wears it better?

Kidada Jones for Disney Couture

As promised --> Disney Couture <-- I discovered this when I was in LA last year..shopping at Kitson.I wasn't aware of the Disney Couture brand back then.Turned out what I bought was the Sleeping Beauty wrap with little bow charms along the length.It is made from braided Italian leather with 14k gold plated charms.All Disney Couture products should come with a purple or blue satin pouch.Unfortunately I didn't get the pouch with my purchase from Kitson.If only I had known better.........

The Kidada for Disney Couture Jewellery Collection all features 14K yellow gold,high quality Swarovski crystals and cubic zirconia. Many pieces are limited editions,therefore,are only produced in small quantities.Shown here are my 4 wraps (from left to right): Bambi Cherry Blossoms Wrap,Bambi Spring Braid Wrap,Sleeping Beauty Bow Charms Wrap,and Tinkerbell Mint Wrap.


I'm not only a fan of the Kidada wraps-I also like the necklaces!!I am a kid at heart I tell ya :)
The necklace on the left is the 'Fairest of Them All' necklace'.You might have seen Lindsay Lohan wearing that.Nicole Richie was seen wearing castle necklace in the middle.This one has a few tiny crystals inside a glass where the castle door is supposed to be.The last one on the right is of Tinkerbell sitting on a glass pearl.I love this one the most I must admit because it's subtle and very cute.I often wear it with shorter necklaces because the length is adjustable.


I just recently got this multi-charms long necklace too.It's limited holiday collection sporting many different charms e.g.lady bugs,butterflies,pink&blue bells,BELIEVE ovals,etc.Haven't had a chance to use it yet but I love it nonetheless.


I actually have more Disney Couture stuff I must admit............I'll showcase those later along with some White Trash Charm perhaps?We'll see.
I did say I'll be updating an addition to my Chanel family.......which I will tonight.I haven't had a chance to use it yet but hopefully tomorrow I will.Check back for photos of what it is later!!

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Easy Way Flap

Presenting today my Dolce & Gabbana Miss Easy Way Flap!I love it because it's both PATENT and METALLIC!!2-in-1 to keep up with the fashion trend..^_^ The metallic patent is made of Pepsi-coloured calfskin.The bag sports a leopard print lining inside.The silver hardware gives a modern edge and a sexy chic look.The chain is removable and can be made long for across the body style or short for normal use...either way the bag is absolutely gorgeous.I always get compliments wearing this bag!I got this bag just before I became a Chanelholic.It was around £700-£800.Miss Easy Way is part of the Fall 2007 collection.

Okay.....maybe there will be a bag tomorrow too.I just can't help it!!My most recent find arrived last week brand new with tag and I got it at lower than retail price..basically a good deal.Some hints-->It's Chanel...is this season's favourite...yet my bag is not part of the current season........hmmmmmmmmm what could it be?

Jessica Alba Blue Chanel

This is my second attempt to post this.As you can tell,I haven't really gotten a hang of this blog thing.I'm still very upset I lost my super long post earlier :(.

Okay so back to what I want to talk about today the Chanel soft&chain ligne!!Isn't it gorgeous?I choose to showcase this bag first and foremost because well..it's just the perfect bag.It's THE bag for me..right now at least.I absolutely love it.


A little history--> I paid wayyyyyyyyyyyy over retail to own this bag...the detail of which will not be disclosed cuz it'll only sadden me.The retail price for this bag is $2125 for the large flap (Jessica size) and $1850 for the small flap.I'm still astonished at how the bag becomes so sought after just 'cause a celebrity has one.And yes,I am one of those crazy people.There was an auction on ebay for this bag just after Jessica Alba photo was published in a magazine with this bag and it fetched $4000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That's double the actual price of the bag.Before you ask,no that wasn't me who bidded...but wow..........

Well anywas like most people I started to like this style because it looks so good on Jessica Alba..(no,I haven't considered the fact that I'm no Jessica Alba..hehe).Below is a few snapshots of Jessica Alba with the bag.


I have searched high and low for this bag.You will not believe how much my phone bill for the month I searched for this bag came to.It was also international call ^_^".Having spent so much time looking for the blue flap,I have learnt A WHOLE LOT about this style so read on if you are interested in getting one.The flap came in 2 sizes:small and large (same size as Jessica).Neiman Marcus brought in 2 colours of the large flap:blue and white & small flap:black and beige/flesh.SAKS and Nordstrom only brought in the small size in the same colour as NM.I believe the small size of these colours are still available at these department stores.The boutique didn't have any soft&chain left by the time I called.Initially the bag were out in S/S2007 so it's about a year old and have been sitting unwanted on the shelf all this time.Then BAM! Jessica Alba's photo hit the stand and everybody must have one. At least that's what the SA I called told me....that 5 blue flaps were sold within 3 days across NM and sold out completely across the company not long after.


So now.......it's time for me to proudly present my blue soft&chain flap!!The lambskin is buttery soft like you wouldn't believe.

A close-up of the chain,which can get heavy and becomes painful on the shoulder.I believe beauty comes with pain so no complaints from me :).I think the chain is what brings the flap its luxury look. I include the style number and tag for reference.

Anyways back to 'blogging'..I would like to use this place as an outlet for my little fashion corner.Mind you I'm not the most fashionable person in the world..let's face it not everybody's Kate Moss.Now I'm not a fan of Kate Moss but her name pops up as a style icon.I like Mischa Barton's style (back then..now she's just...-_-") ~ Nicole Richie's style ~ and Lindsay Lohan (with minimal legging going on though).Having said all that,I don't try to dress like them at all..haha..just their purse style ^_^.Truth be told,I wear whatever I'm comfortable with and what I think looks good on me.I'm not easily influenced by fashion trends.However,I am a BAG JUNKIE.I love handbags..purses..tote..flap..what have you.At the moment I am very very addicted to CHANEL and this addiction started back in December when I first joined the purse forum.My purse addiction started long before I joined the forum but never to this extent.Now anything Chanel will have caught my attention like that...okay you can't see but I just snapped my fingers ;).Before I became a Chanelholic,I was into designer purses already such as Dior,Chloe,YSL,Balenciaga..you name it.A habit that I should get rid of because it's EXTREMELY unhealthy to my pocket and others around me^_^".
I will post pictures of my bags...accessories and then some more bags later when I get a hold of how to use this 'blog'.And I promise I will stop putting 'blog' in quotation.
